Winexpert’s on-site Hungarian oak barrels are a step above for those who appreciate this age-old process. A very special service which we offer customers, the process of aging in these unique casks is offered for a slight additional cost.
How does it work? Well, once the wine is filtered, it is then transferred into the oak barrels for 10-14 days to add splendid spicy notes full of exquisite woody, caramel flavourings. All premium oaks add their own special notes to a wine, and Hungarian oak is well-known and appreciated for the spicy caramel it imparts to your wine.
